Option

Even though there is an option to 'Hibernate',
I prefer 'Shut down'

There would be many windows open
A window would have path breaking research in it,
a beautiful poem in another
my Facebook, some blog.
My own unfinished paper,
and somewhere a job application, half filled!

I patiently close each window, irrespective of urgency.....

Each morning should be like a clean slate.
Yesterday must not ruin today's fate.

If you connect yesterday with today,
life becomes a long unending journey.
One invariably loses, those unplanned breaks on winding road,
those glittery moments of nothingness at the very moment of fresh start

and,
if you wish to remember where you left last,
each moment has a 'history', recorded somewhere, unknowingly.

Even though there is an option to 'Hibernate',
I prefer 'Shut down'
